A Bit About Me

I am a born and raised AZ native and received my undergrad degree in Organizational Communication from the Northern Arizona University. I found a passion early on in my education for finding ways to communicate effectively to assist others in their learning. I never thought I would be able to translate these skills into a career, but here I am loving every day I spend working with others in Learning and Development. So much so that I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Adult Education and Training through Colorado State University to deepen my formal knowledge in the field, estimated graduation to come in Spring 2024. In all arena's, the three values I consistently anchor to are simple, always find ways to build trust, maintain a work-life balance, and support others to be successful wherever and whenever possible.

If I'm not working or doing homework, you will likely find me outside with my husband Christopher chasing around one of our three kids. My children are my motivation to continue focusing on growing in my career and keeping all my priorities, both personal and professional, in line. They definitely keep me busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Instructional Design Manager

My current role has me over our divisional groups Instructional Design Department. I manage a team of Designers who support over 60 clients in our retail space with a wide range of content design needs. My role is part learning strategist and part people leader as I manage the intake and execution of all design requests.

Learning and Development Leader

After getting into the door through logistics, I became a leader managing a small scale group of trainers, designers and administrators for the operations business. While we had one large client, we managed their end to end training all in one shop. I was responsible for people and process management.

Training Delivery Coordinator & Onboarding Administrator

No training program would survive without logistics management. In my first two L&D roles, I would coordinate a combination of all front and back end logistics for classrooms, new hire schedules, trainer scheduling, technical system access and troubleshooting for anywhere from 25-150 new hires at a time.
